Below is a timeline of Premier IT’s history, showing key dates and progress…

1991
Premier Computer Training Ltd. founded as an IT training provider.

2001
Premier Computer Training Ltd. acquired by founders of Harley West. Ian West remains as current owner and chairman today. Turnover approximately £0.5 million. Name changed to Premier IT Group Ltd. A strong presence in the NHS begins to take shape and services are also offered across all industry sectors.

2003
Premier IT Partnership Ltd. business established, providing Professional Development Software and Website Development predominantly for membership/professional bodies and not-for-profit organisations.

2005
Premier IT launches XSPACE mobile classrooms service, offering additional training space predominantly to NHS Trusts across London.

2007
Premier IT Networks Ltd. business established, providing IT networking and security solutions predominantly for charities and not-for-profit organisations.

2008
Premier IT acquires Major Training Ltd. – a specialist media and web design training company trading for over ten years – and significantly expands its expertise and ability to deliver desktop publishing (DTP) training.

2008
Premier IT Group Ltd. establishes e-Learning Development division, providing both bespoke e-Learning and off the shelf solutions to all clients, with particularly strong growth within the NHS.

2008-09
Turnover approximately £4 million. Employee growth up from 15 in 1991 to 84, and clients from 50 in 1991 to 500 today.
