MSP is focused at the strategic level of NHS deployments, as part of the processes and procedures making up the National Programme for IT (NPfIT) quality management system. In accordance with Connecting for Health’s guidelines, the MSP methodology has become the recognised standard in enabling the successful management of multiple NPfIT projects. MSP is the logical next-step for project managers and senior officials within the NHS.
The MSP Practitioner course is a five day event. Delegates should have a good appreciation of the principles and sound practical experience of Project and Programme Management, ideally utilising a recognised structured methodology such as PRINCE2®. It highly recommended that delegates already have a PRINCE2 or equivalent accreditation.
PRINCE2® is a Registered Trade Mark of the Office of Government Commerce in the United Kingdom and other countries.
