A fresh perspective...

PRINCE2, the 'de facto' standard qualification and methodology for project management, has been refreshed and re-launched for 2009. The methodology has been updated and improved to address issues and aspects of the modern project environment, while maintaining its underlying principles and values.

The methodology has been broken down into two separate publications - "Managing Successful Projects with PRINCE2" and "Directing Successful Projects with PRINCE2". The new manuals are designed to be more accessible and easier to navigate around, while simultaneously adopting a more guidance based approach. The new manuals align more closely with other OGC products such as M_o_R^® (Management of Risk) and MSP™ (Managing Successful Programmes), allowing for easier integration between the different methodologies.
