Useful information for MOS exam candidates:

Candidates MUST register with the CertiPort website PRIOR to attending a MOS course or exam.
MOS is the new name for MOUS exams - Microsoft Office (User) Specialist
MOS exams are only offered for Microsoft Office 2000, XP, and 2003. Office 2007 exams are expected to come online towards the end of the 3rd quarter this year.
MOS exams are set at 2 levels - Specialist (Basic) and Expert (Advanced).

MOS exams are set as follows :

Access Specialist
Excel Specialist and Expert
Outlook Specialist
PowerPoint Specialist
Word Specialist and Expert

To gain a MOS Master Certification, candidates are required to take and pass the following exams :

Excel Expert
Word Expert
PowerPoint Specialist
PLUS either Access Specialist OR Outlook Specialist

To gain the MOS Master Certification, all exams must be of the same version - all 2000, or all XP or all 2003 etc.
